Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is a state-level eligibility examination conducted for candidates aspiring to become primary and upper primary school teachers in Uttar Pradesh. The exam is organized by the Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority and serves as a mandatory qualification for teaching positions in government and aided schools across the state. UPTET is conducted in two papers — Paper 1 for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8.
