Constable Tradesman

The Sashastra Seema Bal Constable Tradesman post is a Group ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial position offered under the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Selected candidates are responsible for performing trade-specific duties such as Cook, Washerman, Barber, Tailor, Safaiwala, Cobbler, Gardner, Carpenter, Painter, Electrician, and other technical or support roles while also assisting in maintaining border security, discipline, and internal operations of the force. Candidates are expected to maintain physical fitness, follow departmental regulations, and support operational activities assigned by senior officers.
