Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as the main subject and Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with 50% marks or any other equivalent qualification are eligible to appear in the admission test for the Shiksha Shastri Programme. Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) and Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit) from a recognized University or Institution are also eligible. Such candidates with minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) must complete a One Year Bridge Course to become eligible for Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. 2026). In both cases, the minimum aggregate percentage of 50% will not be calculated by adding the marks of Acharya (First Year), M.A. (First Year), and/or Bridge Course. |
